      Grabbed by Holdem Manager

      Hero ($11.14)
      UTG ($10.64)
      UTG+1 ($10.45)
      CO ($10.15)
      BTN ($14.37)

      Dealt to Hero A:heart: K:spade:

UTG raises to $0.30, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $1, UTG raises to $3, Hero raises to $11.14 (AI), UTG calls $7.64 (AI)

      FLOP ($21.33) J:club: 5:heart: Q:heart:

      TURN ($21.33) J:club: 5:heart: Q:heart: 8:spade:

      RIVER ($21.33) J:club: 5:heart: Q:heart: 8:spade: K:diamond:

      Hero shows A:heart: K:spade:
      (Pre 30%, Flop 30.9%, Turn 15.9%)

      UTG shows K:heart: K:club:
      (Pre 70%, Flop 69.1%, Turn 84.1%)

      UTG wins $19.91

His 3b shows he is capable of bluffing but the size of 4b points to value, either he has to fold 21% of the time or go broke with aq too which is unlikely but bluffing is hard to believe too with that size, maybe ?

      Hey Dracsharp,

Preflop: In these positions I doubt many people, especially nits, will bluff 4-bet you or raise worse for value.

So 3-bet/shove AK is definitely overplay.

Considering the villain I'd just call pre.

      Call ?

How is that going to be +ev ?

I did some calculations a while back i don't have it at hand but our implied with ak is abysmal against his value range, we are oop too and lack initiative.

Shouldn't we either fold this or push it ?

      Hey Dracsharp,

When I said called I referred to his initial PFR not the 4-bet. Calling the 4-bet would be even worse than shoving.
