SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8:club: 8:spade:

Hero raises to 3 BB, MP raises to 7 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls 4 BB

      Flop: (15.5 BB, 2 players) 2:club: 5:spade: 9:heart:
      Hero checks, MP checks

      Turn: (15.5 BB, 2 players) 6:heart:
Hero bets 7.75 BB, MP raises to 19 BB, Hero calls 11.25 BB

      River: (53.5 BB, 2 players) 4:club:
Hero checks, MP bets 30 BB, Hero calls 30 BB

Is my call preflop ok? I usually fold against normal size 3bet, but this time I think I have the odds to call? Do I count it as 4BB to call in order to win his whole stack? Does call 20 rule apply also here if he is 3betting 6%? I think we can apply rule call 15 or so because we can stack him more often than in non 3bet pot?

Is my bet turn ok to protect from AQ, AK which are in his 3bet range of 6%, and he played flop as he has it? Thats why I called turn and river.

      Hi.

Preflop is very standard. If he had made it 9bb then I would consider more stuff like how wide his range is and his postflop tendencies (mostly tendency to turn barrel).

I think turn bet is mandatory to go for value from AK AQ type of hands. When he raises it's a complete guessing game. Perhaps he had some sort of heart draw now. It is just a line which doesn't make any sense at all to me so I will just call down.

If you see some weird slowplay, write a note and move on.

      Thanks.
