      Hey

Is this fold too weak? He's short-stacked so could be bluffy but I don't do very well vs. his raising-for-value range on this board so I chose to believe he had a 2x or over pair. I was repeating "big pots for big hands" over and over as I clicked fold ;(
If he was deeper (i.e. 100BBs+) would this be a much easier fold?

      villain unknown.

I guess I shouldn't be raising this hand from EP if I hit like this then fold to a raise...

      cheers!

      Hi red,

We can expect villain to 3-bet the stronger pairs preflop, especially considering his stack so what range do we put him on the flop?

Given then nature of the board and his stack I think that he can shove many Tx hands along with possibly other pairs (that beat us like JJ or are behind like 99).

Considering that we have TPTK and we dominate weaker TP and the fact that we only need about 34% pot odds I would call here.

      Hi Bogdan,

      thanks for your quick reply

Now I look at it a call would be better. I think I was on inverse-tilt as that point!
I was thinking along the same lines of your comments (which I suppose is a good thing...). As I mentioned before, if he had a full stack should we bet/call or bet/fold? I guess having VPIP stats would be really useful here t gauge how many 2x hands to expect in his range.

      Cheers.

Are we assuming a full stack is shoving here or making a smaller raise?

I would call versus a raise and call down as i see people bluffing this spots way too often (they slowplay 2x - few combos, TT).
