Why you don't like to follow pokerstrategy starting hand chart?
KJ from mp is fold pf.
If you decide to play that hand then raise to isolate the limper.
Checking back on the turn is fine, since you don't know where you at on that pot.

I was cutoff, not MP and there were calls beforehand.

I'd raise pf on CO with KT+. On the flop you could raise that small bet to see where you are at. If you got re-raised you could be more cautious, if anyone called they'd be probably on an OESD so you could keep betting for value. That's what I think anyway...

      Sry, read you were MP.
Hand converter says K :club: J :spade:
With KJs you can limp (as says SHC) but I prefer to raise to isolate weak limper. But we had already fight over head admin over that and we found that limping might be also good with micros. Just I would never do that (but that is my personal opinion)

I guess you could raise if you are up against blinds and one call before you, everything else would be too risky, i guess. The micro limits tend to call you down even with hands like 68o if you raise and then you don't know where you are at if low, somewhat connected or suited stuff hits the board. If I raise, then i want to have a good fold equity. You don't have that on the micros, so I just call.
