Villain is realtively unknown but in 10 hands he got 78/22 AF 0.6 so I think he is more of a recreational player given his stack size too

I raise my JJ for value preflop

I dont like the flop and the turn....he could have both Ax and Kx type of hands here so I just check both streets

river seems safe and since he didnt bet on any of the street by now, I place a value bet here because I dont think he would check twice if he hit A or K

      Hi Lavek,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Giving up versus his stack is fine.

The river bet is actually thin because we can expect villain to check a lot of his Kx hands especially if he is passive. However we can also see him calling so pairs, maybe Qx, 9x, etc.

yeah..I didnt even try to take the pot down with flop cbet just because I would commit myself versus his stack here

Pretty much. Although if you bet and he shoved we should still fold. We have 2 outs x 4 = 8% equity or so in the hand. And we definitely wouldn't get 8% pot odds (unless you just shove it but then nothing worse really calls or nothing better folds).
