      BTN: $5.05 - VPIP: 21, PFR: 11, 3B: 0, AF: 1.5, Hands: 66
      SB: $3.52 - VPIP: 13, PFR: 9, 3B: 4, AF: 2.0, Hands: 88
      BB: $4.91 - VPIP: 48, PFR: 16, 3B: 0, AF: 2.6, Hands: 122
      UTG: $4.83 - VPIP: 35, PFR: 25, 3B: 15, AF: 2.3, Hands: 128
      MP: $4.52 - VPIP: 27, PFR: 18, 3B: 5, AF: 1.8, Hands: 126
      Hero (CO): $7.77 - VPIP: 23, PFR: 19, 3B: 8, AF: 3.8, Hands: 24869

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is CO with T :diamond: T
UTG raises to $0.10, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.35, BTN calls $0.35, 3 folds

      Flop: ($0.87) A :diamond: K :diamond: 4  (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      Turn: ($0.87) A :spade: (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      River: ($0.87) J  (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.43, Hero calls $0.43

I put him on some kinda ace (which doesn't fold this flop), and medium pocket pairs.

Should I rather bet flop to fold out JJ,QQ?

On the turn, the chances of him having Ax are little. Although the chances of folding out JJ,QQ decreased as well, I think overall a delayed CB should be fine here.

As played, river call is close, or we'd rather not call here?

      Hey th334,

3 bet preflop is close vs UTG opener. If he opened 3x it would often be a mistake. It might be ok seeing as he open min-raises but not always.

BTNs range is decent Aces and usually mid to high PP's as you said yourself. I think your check down line is fine. You will need to fire 2 to get him off most of his range anyway, and some of his range is never folding.

He usually doesn't have an A or a K by the river. He can have QQ/JJ both of which have you beat. Pure bluffs may bet flop/turn instead of waiting till river, and hands like PP's below 99 are usually just going to check back. Basically I don't think opponent is bluffing very often and his value range has you beat, I'd probably fold river.

      Hi w34z3l,

How about a river bluff from...okay, I get it. The only flush draw he might have is Q9dd, which is absurd :f_biggrin:

The problem on the river is that there're simply no bluffs here, right? It's all made hands that just check back...even 99 should probably just check back here...

His line looks weird in this light, but in fact he just made a set on the river, and it explains his weird line with a value hand.

Exactly, assuming he is calling with a reasonable range he always has showdown value. Usually he's checking back the hands that are worse than yours and betting with most of the ones that are better.

Even if he makes a random call pf with 76o, why would he wait until the river to bluff? Also his sizing suggests value.
