      Hi pantas,

What was the action like preflop?

I'm assuming we are holding 44? Why do we check flop and river?

      Yes i had 44.
I called on flop because villian had initiative and i let him cbet and plan to raise him.
On the river i wasn't sure that i had best hands so i just called.

Ah ok, so preflop you called a raise.

It looks like on the river you just checked rather than call.

I think that based on our line we should simply bet that river. There are no draws that got there on the river and villains hand looks a lot like a Qx hand (since he didn't bet flop but bet the turn on Q) or a draw that missed (KJ/AK/AJ type hands).

And we don't want Qx hands to be afraid and check back (as they almost always would do).
