      no hud, speed,
villain is normal player (meaning not super loose or super bad), no big history.

      Grabbed by Holdem Manager
      NL Holdem $0.10(BB) Replayer
      Hero ($13.76)
      BB ($12.34)
      UTG ($18.24)
      UTG+1 ($12.68)
      CO ($9.75)
      BTN ($10.48)

      Dealt to Hero Q:club: A:club:

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to $0.30, Hero raises to $1, fold, BTN raises to $2.70, Hero calls $1.70

      FLOP ($5.50) A:spade: 8:club: 9:diamond:

      Hero checks, BTN checks

      TURN ($5.50) A:spade: 8:club: 9:diamond: 9:club:

Hero bets $3.20, BTN calls $3.20

      RIVER ($11.90) A:spade: 8:club: 9:diamond: 9:club: K:diamond:

Hero bets $5.95, BTN calls $4.58 (AI)

      BTN shows T:heart: A:diamond:
      (Pre 25%, Flop 16.1%, Turn 11.4%)

      Hero shows Q:club: A:club:
      (Pre 75%, Flop 83.9%, Turn 88.6%)

      BTN wins $9.83
      Hero wins $9.83

Is calling 4b pre bad? Our hand can't be dominated often but his amount sure looks like value 4b.

On flop I go for c/c with intention of donking on turn??

On turn I didn't think it through but there were 2 scenarios:
      1) c/shove (obvious A, but he might have worse kicker or even doesn't believe me and calls with PP)
      2) bet turn and bet/shove river

On this river I can only split and since there is no worse hand calling me only can loose to AK or A9. Shoving river is just paying rake I guess.
If we check I still think I would snap call his shove.

      Hi yax,

I don't like our play here at all, especially the call preflop. We invest 25% of our stack with a hand that is normally dominated and without much hope if we don't hit.

If you think your hand is ahead or he bluffs often just shove preflop and maximize your FE (collect the big pot).

As played I'd bet turn smaller (villains range is weaker, pairs mostly, weaker Ax) after he checks that flop. And river I doubt we get a crying call from a smaller pair so I doubt we have value in a bet unless he folds a split (which I doubt he does).
