      Villain is 19/16/7.0/0.0/31 hands

hes opening 40 from CO 33 from BU and 18 from SB so i thought i'd give him a 3bet here.

Made a standard cbet on flop and continued when i hit another jack on the turn. when he raises i think hes either on slow played set of aces or 3's it was 100bb to call on the turn so i figured he's never doing that with worse then a jack?

      Hello,

      Just flat here.
In order to 3bet here we have to be sure that he calls very wide so QJ can be a value 3bet.

As played, I prefer checking back the flop.
It's hard to get called by worse here, so I'd rather keep the pot small.

Turn is a good card and I like your bet.
When he raises I think we probably have to muck this against this guy. I really have a hard time seeing him having any worse Jx (probably JTs or J9s but thats's 2 combos) and everything else beats us.

On the river folding is fine.

      Best,
      Plamen

Thanks for the reply :D I was hoping for a fold on the flop, but now i see that was just a gamble, i had no reason to believe he would fold there.

Reason i 3bet and not flat is because i'm not so good with this kind of hand postflop, better get studying :D
