      No reads on the villain.

      Party No-Limit Hold'em, $0.04 BB (3 handed) - Party Converter Tool from

      Hero (BB) ($5.89)
      SB ($10.36)
      Button ($4)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, Q
1 fold, SB bets $0.10, Hero calls $0.08

      Flop: ($0.24) 5, 9, 8 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.16, SB calls $0.16

      Turn: ($0.56) 2 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.36, SB calls $0.36

      River: ($1.28) 9 (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero bets $0.56

How is my line here? He seemed week to me and I thought that I could take the pot postflop. Are betsizes good? Is valuebetting the river standard?

      Hi Acetbfish,

Preflop: We could also 3-bet as a bluff preflop but calling vs 2.5 raise is so so with position.

Postflop: We can bet bigger there on the flop once villain checks. His range is almost always some type of draw or weaker made hand like 9x, 8x, 77, 66, etc.

As played turn can be larger as well and river can be a larger bet/fold as well. And yes the river valuebet is "standard".
