I remember that the opponent was pretty bad.

      Party No-Limit Hold'em, $0.04 BB (6 handed) - Party Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.com

      Button ($8.29)
      Hero (BB) ($4)
      CO ($1.19)
      MP ($2.41)
      SB ($3.68)
      UTG ($2.36)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 10, Q
UTG bets $0.08, 4 folds, Hero calls $0.04

      Flop: ($0.18) J, 10, 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $0.08, Hero calls $0.08

      Turn: ($0.34) Q (2 players)
      Hero checks, UTG checks

      River: ($0.34) 6 (2 players)
      Hero bets $0.16

Is the value bet on the river here good? Could I have bet the turn?

      Hi Acetbfish,

Preflop: for one BB we can call here to play postflop.

Postflop: As played that flop call can also be a fold or raise depending on what we know about our opponent as our hand is a weak bluffcather/draw and we are OOP with two more streets to go.

I don't like donking the turn on that scare card so checking is fine and on the river, after he checked the turn, we can go for a small valuebet to get looked up by worse 2p or 1p. It's thin but he should still have worse hands that can call.
