Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is SB with 8 :club: A
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.30, Hero raises to $0.90, BB calls $0.80, 1 fold I wanted to resteal vs button, who obviously steals a lot. He doesnt seem call happy. Or I should at least have a speculative hand which can flop something, like a PP, or a SC?

      Flop: ($2.10) 9 :diamond: 5 :diamond: 6 :spade: (2 players)
Hero bets $1.10 the board texture is shit, we should just give up maybe. Many overpair, and set possibility, and no scarecard for us to represent.

I could go here for cbet, if I have a plan on turn. What would you do if turn was e.g J :club: or some random :diamond: ? And if you always give up in these situations you have a leak, coz you become exploitable.

Of course, if button tends to fold a lot to 3bets and now he just calls then I could definitely go for ch/f.

      Hi Imimba,

Preflop:You got it spot on. In spots where you can expect to play some postflop we should look for hands with playability.

Blockers are good if villain plays 4-bet or fold game.

Postflop: While the board may not be great to cbet in a regular pot I think we still get respect for an overpair here and he will not float us that light so a cbet that only has to work 33-35% of the time is fine.
