Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players

      CO: $33.44 (66.9 bb)
      BTN: $96.74 (193.5 bb)
      SB: $75.40 (150.8 bb)
      Hero (BB): $50.20 (100.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A J
CO folds, BTN raises to $1, SB folds, Hero raises to $3.50, BTN raises to $7.50, Hero ????

shoving seems kinda lame given the small sizings..

what about calling the 4bet w AJs ?

      cheers

      Hi,

Why did you 3bet? Without info I just flat there.
As played I don't like to call the 4bet. Being OOP, no iniciative and having a dominated hand will put us in a tough and -EV spot. 5bet and jamming all the chips will be a situation were a flip is the best we can hope for.

      Hi there,

I think its quite standard 3bet for value, specially 4 handed..

      4 handed okay, but it's clearly a 3bet/fold.

Considering that we are 4-handed and he just min raised I agree with the fact that it's a 3-bet for value versus his calling range.

However, without any history, once we get 4-bet it's the end of the road for our hand.

If you were to ship we need quite a bit of FE or him to stack off super light to show a profit. Have you calculated the amount of potential FE required if we ship it?

I agree, jamming seems bad and I stated it already in the OP.

I guess we need close to 70% FE vs TT+,AQ+ to show a profit on jamming which we dont have here.

So it leaves us with calling or folding..

we have 27% pot odds to call his 4bet, we are gonna flop 50% or more equity on 40% of flops vs TT-AA, A2s-A5s, AQ-AK, K6s-K9s .. so I think calling might be an option..
