      On the turn I'm a bit puzzled because mine is kind of a weak straight using only 1 card from my hand and the third suit is there, giving me a FD that is probably heavily discounted as well.

      Not wanting to overplay I decided to just take the odds he was offering and pot control.

      Turns out it was just a weird pointless bluff from him.

      Very standard as played. He reps a flush or straight, and our hand is too strong to fold but too weak to raise. I may consider raising with J8, but with only 8X this is super standard. It would be crazy to try gaining value from a badly overplayed 2pair/set type of hand.
