SB is LAGy Fish under 40 hands, I went into Calling statuon mode here, I just felt that the PSB on Flop and Turn were week and on the River I think PSB and OB are very strong I thought with Q paireing it was pretty hard to fold because the liklyness that he has a Q goes down so then I am only loseing to AJ, might be a bit spewy tho due to what I said about large bets on the River usualy meaning great strenth?

      Hi BigAl,

Preflop: versus min raise I prefer to 3-bet for thin value and gain initiative.

Postflop: these type of hands come down to how we think our opponent plays (and what we've seen him do).

I agree with you that he polarizes his range with the large bet is it's possible for fishy guy to valuebet big to protect on this wet board.

I think that bluffcatching 3-streets against an aggro fish it's fine especially when everything missed the river (and considering his small preflop raise). However, if he is mostly unknown and can't assume he is aggro this would be light at best so we can consider folding.

As mentioned above though, raising this preflop would be a better play and of course give us control in the hand.

With position definitely. People that minraise like this have usually super wide steal ranges and call really wide.

So these broadways are far ahead of their range (calling range) and can scoop up the pot postflop often.
