Preflop: Hero is BTN with J J
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, SB raises to $1, BB folds, Hero calls $0.70

      Flop: ($2.10) 6 5 4 (2 players)
SB bets $1.50, Hero calls $1.50

      Turn: ($5.10) 7 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3.25, SB folds

      Results:
      $5.10 pot ($0.25 rake)
      Final Board: 6 5 4 7
      Hero mucked J J and won $4.85 ($2.35 net)
SB mucked and lost (-$2.50 net)

SB is TAGy under 200 hands and BB is Tight Pasive over 1k hands, Pre its is a bit close the Call because I slightly dont have enough for call 15, on the Flop I think I have to call atleast once with my Plan of Folding most Turn cards, on the Turn I think I have to Bet/Fold to get value from draws?

      Hi BigAl,

Preflop: We should really use call 20 (as the new rule that PS is recommending) and we don't have enough odds. However I would also look at how often this guy 3-bets from the blinds because JJ can be more than just a set mine hand.

We can bluffcatch with it and with position we can try to make showdowns.

Postflop: I agree with your line here but on the turn you can bet slightly smaller as I doubt villain will have a ck/call range. He is either ck/folding or ck/raising. And we bet to take down the pot/protection and occasionally get value from random calling hands.

I thought for 3Bet pots call 15 was what you should use and Call20 for Open intial raise?

Well, I prefer the call 20 across the board at the micros because people tend to not play hands just for set mine (for example here you didn't play just for set mine). And a lot of people actually lose a ton of money that way - not saying that with this particular case but for example if the villain keeps betting on a low board and we pay off.

I would of thought being able to set mine with call15 at the Micros would be a lot more pfofitable at Micros because it is easyer to get players overplaying OPs and TP type hand, for example I raise with 3s in MP and get 3Bet by SB and we have stacks to call by Call15, I then I hit my set and he hits TP with say AQs then stack are going in?

That's not always the case. And people at the micros are just as likely to spew away with their "set mine" pairs postflop.

I think that if you don't throw money left and right when you don't hit then call 15 is fine. If you know you may do then use call 20 to be safe.
