      $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      Hero (SB): $63.40 (126.8 bb)
      BB: $24.50 (49 bb)
      UTG: $133.53 (267.1 bb)
      MP: $52.91 (105.8 bb)
      CO: $52.33 (104.7 bb)
      BTN: $49.25 (98.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A:spade: A:diamond:
3 folds, BTN raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $5, BB folds, BTN raises to $14, Hero calls $9

      Flop: ($28.50) 7:spade: 3:club: 4:spade: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $35.25 and is all-in, Hero calls $35.25

Okay so we dont have much info on opponent: 24/19 , 11,1 3-bet for 21 hands

I decided to call preflop here, because i think his 4-bet range IP would be very polarized so i want to give him a chance to stab at the flop with his weak hands rather than fold him preflop. Obviously I can't go wrong if i just play for stacks preflop, but does my play make any sense and can it be more +EV than 5-bet shoving?

      Hi

Just shove pre. His size tells me that he is wanting to commit himself with a hand like jj or ak. If u flat bad flops may fall. I dont like flatting 4bets with the nuts unless u thought hid range has way more air than value hands (65% air)

      Thanks.

I don't know maybe it was the dynamic of the table, but I was very confident that he had a lot of bluffs in that spot. Not to be results oriented, but he had 76o here so I guess I had a good read on the specific situation, but probably I made bad play in the long run. I will just shove it from now on ;)

Well im rly surprised. But u shuld trust ur feel on the dynamics, maybe it skews his 4betting heavily towards bluffs and it becomes such that villain has way more air here in his range that flatting becomes better..
But in general i think people dont 4b bluff so huge, its such a bad play to risk so much on a bluff.
