      I'd raise a little bit more on the flop (~$2) and call his raise.

      Check/call the turn and river.

      I see no reason to bet the river, the only thing you accomplish is making worse hands fold.

      As Faye said, bet 2$ on flop, and check/call down. The only hands raising the river beat you (where do you get this idea of it looking like a bluff?), so either bet/fold or check/call.
