      (Pre 18%, Flop 10.0%, Turn 4.5%)

      BTN wins $20.98

This is something I see all too often in micro FR games. Villain 3 bets 2% from BTN and 2.8% overall. IMO his range v a EP open is almost always KK+. 4 betting and stacking off seems to not make us money, but folding seems super nitty, what can we do?

Here I'm basically crossing my fingers and hoping he can turn up with bluffs or hoping for a chop. In these nitty FR games can we fold KK and not expect it to impact our win rate? How much are we potentially giving up by taking the safe route?

      Hi.

I agree with not 4betting preflop but why would u cr turn? Just kep chk calling. If he bets river sometimes he bluffs with ak and sometimes he has qq.

The logic here is not consistent. We potcontrol preflop cos we dont want to isolate vs better. For the same reason we should not raise after the flop.

      Thanks.

Is it ever reasonable to assume that he never bluffs and make a tight fold preflop?

Nope it's not. KK is pretty much the 2nd best hand we could have hoped for. As you said his 3bet range is 2+% so it may contain QQ and AK. And it's not wise to assume that he never bets AK and QQ in this manner on 3 streets.

QQ would be a different story though.
