      Hello!

I have some sort of global Q here.

If a fish opens on CO what is your plan when you are BTN with smaller suited aces and offsuit aces?

I think his PFR is important, his foldto3b and his foldtocbet. If he opens a lot and shows he could fold vs cbets I just 3bet any Axs -> Is this good? If he doesn't like to fold or doesn't open too much I probably call them unless he opens like <25% ?

In this case villain opened CO 2/7 times. Fold tocb 1/3

Pretty much as you said. 3bet bluff vs high Ft3bet. Flat IP with Axs if you can't bluff, assuming stacks are reasonably deep. Axo usually just muck if you can't bluff.

Hand looks fine. No point making any moves on this flop especially with BB to act behind also.

Game theory says yes, you should call wider vs smaller opens. This means hands that might previously have gone into 3bet bluff category become strong enough to call. In practice it depends on the villain a lot too.

I usually just end up folding A9o and below for playability reasons, unless I can 3bet bluff it profitably.

If you run the maths and look at your equity it's a call though, (depending on how wide the CO is opening.) You are also going to have position vs a weak opponent.

The only other thing to watch out for is 3betters in the blinds - which would make the hand a fold.
