Villai is playing with stats 14/12/7, fold to steal 85%, fold to cbet 33% in 286 hands.

      Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (5 handed) - Party-Poker Converter Tool from

      BB ($8.77)
      Hero (MP) ($10.15)
      SB ($10)
      Button ($29.37)
      UTG ($9.75)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K, 10
      1 fold, Hero bets $0.30, 1 fold, SB calls $0.25, 1 fold

      Flop: ($0.70) 9, K, 9 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.40, SB calls $0.40

      Turn: ($1.50) 8 (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks

      River: ($1.50) 2 (2 players)
SB bets $1.07, Hero calls $1.07

I thought that it would be better to check the turn and induce a bluff on the river or take some value from some medium pairs.

Yeah this guy is on a nit side. I somehow still don't think he will bet many worse on the river. We will see here KJ, KQ often so i think river is close.

All in all i think i would play exactly the same.

      Hey acetbfish,

Preflop is on the looser side but ok.

Flop is fine, you definitely don't want to bet any bigger on this board.

Your turn play is fine, worse hands may not call a second barrel.

River is close. Villain is probably not betting worse for value. He really needs to be bluffing with TJ, QJ, QT in order for this to be a profitable call.
