Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

      BTN: $52.89 (105.8 bb)
      SB: $107.13 (214.3 bb)
      BB: $25.09 (50.2 bb)
      Hero (MP): $56.79 (113.6 bb)
      CO: $91.82 (183.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A T
Hero raises to $1.50, CO folds, BTN calls $1.50, SB calls $1.25, BB folds

      Flop: ($5) 8 5 9 (3 players)
SB bets $1.50, Hero raises to $7, BTN raises to $17.50, SB calls $16, Hero calls $10.50

      Turn: ($57.50) 2 (3 players)
SB bets $38.50, Hero folds, BTN calls $33.89 and is all-in

      River: ($125.28) 7 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

      BTN is a LAG, played 28/21 after 250 hands, 3bet 12%, AFq 34, wtsd 21.

      SB is a big fish, played 64/23 after 240 hands, 3bet 10%, AFq 42, wtsd 23, flop donkbet 27%(13/49).

I think raising flop could be fine, fish could have a wide donking range here.
BTN's cold3bet is very strong though, so after the fish calls, my play is purely odds-based...
Turn? Fish donkpushes... :) Potodds are 28%, which I dont have with 9 outs. If turn would have been 6/7/J, I would have the odds to call with combodraw, right?
Rivercard was still a bit painful... :)

We can see from your stats he is donking a little wider. I'm not sure that means you have fold equity though. And it's partially fold-equity that makes the play profitable. I would tend towards flatting and benefiting from increased odds if the BTN overcalls.

      Total pot is 57.5. You need to call 10.5 10.5/57.5 = 18%
Likely will see only 1 more card = 18% effective equity.

Looks like your call is fine. Relies entirely on implied odds to show profit though.

15 outs, 30% equity. Some river cards may be tainted. No river implieds. Probably a break even call.

The main reason you should call on these turn cards is because there is a chance BTN overcalls in which case your odds are slightly better.
