      hi,

could we talk about 3bet bluffing range vs steal?
what type of hands would be ready for bluffing against reg-type players?
As I learned from the video "Thin Red Line", we need to choose between the value and trash range.
What would be the standard betsize?

      ty.

      Hi McFly,

There are a few ways to build a 3-bet bluff range and they are all dependent on the villain.

For example you could 3-bet the top of your folding range, or you could 3-bet blocker hands (that have playability like in this case).

If villain folds a lot to 3-bets and rarely calls (mostly 4-bets if he continues) then you want more bluffs and less value. And then blockers play a bigger role than lets say against someone that calls 3-bets a lot.

If we had a villain that called broadways, big pairs, etc 3-betting a hand that's easily dominated, especially OOP is not such a good idea (like this Kxs) so instead we can 3-bet bluff hands like 78s, 76s, 97s, etc. but versus those guys we also want to increase our 3-bet value range to include AQ/AJ/KQ/etc.
