I like to 3bet from BU the most, usually with suited cards, but JT also since it hits top pair, or straight draw often. I also get often fold preflop or fold flop. I 3bet 20 from BU, is it too wide?

Is it ok check back flop, I dont have 3 streets of value, and when I show weakness flop he might be bluffing with missed PP, or gutshot, fd on turn, if he is passive I might get once call by PP or gutshot, fd.

      Hey mlatasrb,

Preflop 3bet is fine so long as you realise you are doing it as a bluff, it's way too thin to be a value bet.

Your flop reasoning is good in this spot. You can't get 3 streets, checking back is decent.

The downside is, you turn your hand face-up vs a perceptive villain. I.e you nearly always have Jx, QQ, TT, or a weak Kxs. A good villain can fire 2 streets as a bluff and fold you off most of your range.

For this reason you always have to call a turn bet. Whether you call a river bet depends on how good/aggressive you think villain is. Some villains will stab the turn and check/fold river which is the worst possible line vs your range. I would probably put most 20nl unknowns in this category and fold river here.

If you knew your opponents was a smart thinking reg you can call 2streets. You could also think about cbetting your hand on flop vs a smart reg to avoid turning your hand face up.
