      Hero ?

I always get stuck on this spots, ip/oop against reg, against donk. I never know if i should bet and if betting if i should bet on the river again. I tend to give up, against donkeys i think they will almost always have something to call with on wet boards, and against regs i feel that i cant represent a decent hand because i just checked on a wet flop. Is giving up correct overall? As always it will depend, i know, but tell me what factors will you consider and in what conditions are you trying to take down the pots on this spot.

      Hey,

Your thinking vs someone that doesn't fold to cbets should be: "where can I make him fold?" If turn, have good turn barrel cards, if river, have good 3 barrel cards. Good cards are scare cards and equity cards. You have quite a few barrel cards here but he doesn't like folding at all, meaning you might not have enough FE. If you check flop, I would check turn often as well and make delayed delayed cbet since he would bet often on the turn with the hands he would give up with.

Yes, you get bluffed sometimes but just check some OK showdown value hands that can defend turn as well some of the time like some 7x with diamonds, small 9x. etc.

Do you think i can make him fold a pair on the river only with one bet?

Your goal would be to make him fold a small pair, some better A highs and the few hands he would bluff river when checked to because you cannot check/call and don't see the showdown often enough.
