      iPoker - $0.20 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
      Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

      SB: 100.5 BB
      BB: 107.75 BB
      CO: 121.15 BB
      Hero (BTN): 120.3 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A:spade: J:heart:

fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, SB raises to 10 BB, BB calls 9 BB, Hero calls 7 BB

      Flop: (30 BB, 3 players) Q:club: 2:heart: J:club:
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks

      Turn: (30 BB, 3 players) 7:club:
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets 10 BB, fold, BB calls 10 BB

      River: (50 BB, 2 players) 3:club:
      BB checks, Hero checks

BB shows J:spade: 8:spade: (One Pair, Jacks) (Pre 30%, Flop 13%, Turn 7%)
Hero shows A:spade: J:heart: (One Pair, Jacks) (Pre 70%, Flop 87%, Turn 93%)
      Hero wins 47.5 BB

SB 1k hands, 25/20, 3bet from sb 7 against BU 6. He 3bets from all positions and against all positions similarly, so I guess he does it with standard value hands against any opponent and position.

      BB 36 hands, 64/6, FCB 70.

would it be ok to call AJ against SB 3bet 7% range? I called it because big fish joined, but I am not sure if that is ok, because SB could have AK, AQ, QQ+.
BB called couple of times cold my 3bet, and he always folded to cbets, or called with crapy bottom pairs.

Is check flop ok? I guess I have to bet turn for value, probably I should do it bigger? I expected SB to call AK, or fold in most cases, and I expected fish to call with some bottom pair, PP etc.

      Hi mla,

Preflop is a bit marginal because SB is not that wide but since BB is a huge fish and we have position we should still be fine. We can expect SB to play face up with two people postflop (two people that have position on him).

As played I think we should bet flop for thin value/protection. The fish can call with a lot and SB will almost always ck/fold as I doubt he will go for a ck/raise here with the fish right after him.

On the turn I'd bet at least 20 BB for pure value versus club hands and some pairs.
