      Hello again,

Sorry, this sh*t is now in FInnish, but guess you will get the main point here by looking this hand. Hero is BB.
      Tunnetut pelaajat:
      MP2: $0,97 - 49 bb
      MP3: $2,25 - 113 bb
      CO: $8,05 - 403 bb
      BU: $2,00 - 100 bb
      SB: $1,37 - 69 bb
      BB: $2,02 - 101 bb

      0,01/0,02 No Limit Hold'em (6-kätinen)
      Käsien tallentaja tähän kä SideKick

Preflop: Hero on BB kädessään A:heart: , K:heart:
SB asettaa pienen blindin ($0,01), Hero asettaa ison blindin ($0,02), 4 kippaa, SB maksaa, Hero korottaa summaan $0,06, SB maksaa

      Floppi: ($0,16 - 8 bb) 8:heart: , 6:club: , 5:diamond: (2 pelaajaa)
      SB lyö $0,10, Hero maksaa

      Turn: ($0,36 - 18 bb) K:diamond: (2 pelaajaa)
SB sököttää, Hero lyö $0,16, SB maksaa

      River: ($0,68 - 34 bb) 8:spade: (2 pelaajaa)
      SB lyö $0,32, Hero?

My thoughts.. When this fishy looking unk. donks on flop, I mostly put him on overcards, TP or even overpair. Not that likely on sets, but it's plausible. On turn where he checks I can't def. put him on set, as he would keep on raging here, so I say it's TP or scared overpair (99-JJ)

On river was the biggest problem. I somehow leveled myself to call, but donk about 1/2 there is only 8x IMO. He looks passive, and I think he would ch/fold his draws.

      Would you give up river?

      Preflop is fine.

On the flop I don't like calling. What's the plan if we call?
I prefer folding here since we just have ace high and even if we hit A or K we aren't sure that we have the best hand.

As played, bet bigger on the turn - $0.25-$0.27.

On the river I prefer folding.
I think he most often has 8x here when he bets like this and I doubt that we are good here often enough.

      Hey Cpallo,

Cheers for the free Finnish lesson.... :s_o:

Preflop is fine. I'd even raise it up larger.

Flop call is ok but closeish. You are relying on implieds to make it profitable.

I'd probably bet larger on turn. I don't see villain folding any straight draws or even pairs to one bet.

River is awkward. It looks so much like an 8. He's hardly ever bluffing with this size. presumably he'd check/call with 99-JJ. Folding is probably fine, although you only need the best hand 24% of the time to make the call.

My flop call was more like using position to outplay him. He was unk. and those guys might sometimes bet non-broadway flops without hit. Ofc, If I missed the turn (looking for J/Q/K/A to bet), I'd fold against a bet for sure.

And glad ye liked my Finnis lesson :s_biggrin:

Yeah I think it's ok tbh, so long as one of two things is true.

      1) You get paid a little when you hit a K or A
      2) Sometimes you take down the pot unimproved on turn or river.
