Villain is an unknown regular. I don't really understand his line. He doesn't represent anything. Should I 3bet on the turn? Or should I just give up?

      Hi.

Preflop: Vs an unknown CO range, I think it may be a little tough to play A8s without any info about his postflop tendencies. I prefer to 3b here.

Turn: I'm considering overbetting the pot, 2X ($6) just to put a ton of pressure on him. As played when he raises, I think he has slowplayed KK or 77 a lot. I would just call and donk Rivers which improve my hand. On diamonds maybe you can check/raise instead.

Honestly I don't see too much air in his range (why would he not cbet air on the Flop?) also if he somehow has a diamond draw, he may check back the River and our Ace high will be the best hand a lot.

      Thanks.

What is your calling range vs an unknown player in this situation?

      Thanks for your help!

      Probably A9s+/KTs+/KJo+/JTs+/QTs+/ATo+/77+.
This is specifically vs a 3BB open from an unknown CO open. Could widen our range if we knew more about our opponent and he has a wider range or plays more weakly postflop, or if the raise size is smaller.
