IPoker, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

      BB: $50 (100 bb)
      UTG: $50.50 (101 bb)
      Hero (MP): $64.86 (129.7 bb)
      CO: $51.31 (102.6 bb)
      BTN: $23.59 (47.2 bb)
      SB: $48.25 (96.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A Q
UTG raises to $1.75, Hero calls $1.75, 4 folds

      Flop: ($4.25) 3 4 Q (2 players)
UTG bets $3.50, Hero calls $3.50

      Turn: ($11.25) 6 (2 players)
UTG bets $10, Hero calls $10

      River: ($31.25) 4 (2 players)
      UTG checks Hero ?

      Villain is 26/23/9 sample 500
      Opens utg 24% (84hands)
      Cb 77/53/40

pre-flop i chose to call as table seems passive, low chance of squeeze, I dominate most of his aces/queens and also when people bet more than 3x i am quite supsicious.

      flop standard call
at turn, when he pots it his range is very strong at least top pair
On river when he checks to me, my choice is to check bet/call, bet fold or shove

If he wouldnt make it so big on turn I would go for thin value and bet fold.

What do you think about river?

Is he a reg? Whenever you have a close vbet IP when you can check behind and see a showdown I think long term vs a reg: How would this affect our long term dynamics, how can I use the info if I check behind here. Vs a fishy player it would always be a bet imo vs a reg it's always a debate for long term dynamics imo.

You are very likely to have the best hand but you also need to get called or raised by worst.
