      SB: $10 (100 bb)
      BB: $10.63 (106.3 bb)
      Hero (UTG+2): $24.56 (245.6 bb)
      MP1: $10.50 (105 bb)
      MP2: $9.90 (99 bb)
      MP3: $4.66 (46.6 bb)
      CO: $10.15 (101.5 bb)
      BTN: $9.82 (98.2 bb)

      Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with Q A
Hero raises to $0.40, MP1 folds, MP2 calls $0.40, 3 folds, SB calls $0.35, BB folds

      Flop: ($1.30) 8 Q J (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.91, MP2 calls $0.91, SB folds

      Turn: ($3.12) A (2 players)

      $15.78 pot ($1.05 rake)
      Final Board: 8 Q J A 7
Hero mucked Q A and lost (-$7.64 net)
      MP2 showed K T and won $14.73 ($7.09 net)

I think I played this horribly!!

The problem I have is that I tried to protect my hand on the flop but in doing so I have bloated the pot??
On the turn I think I should probably check and re-evaluate when villain bets/checks??
My action left me with no other option than to call on the river as the pot was now so big with so little to call??
How could I have played this differently??
I think I should Cbet the flop for around $1.10. When called I should Check/fold the turn. Would this be the correct line here?

      Hi Zachrina,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Board is super wet so I agree that we want to cbet larger especially since MP2 may appear to be fishy.

The turn is not the greatest card because it completes most draws but also scares the villain away as it's a prime scare card.

I would look to bet/fold 1/2 pot and then ck/fold the river. We have value on the turn from some Qx+draw type hands and maybe 2p that didn't raise flop.

The villain type is really important here but I'm assuming you had no info?

And as played you can still bet/fold the river ( I would just ck/fold) because I doubt that's ever a bluff or a weaker hand for value.

MP2 was actually loose passive (36/0), again, small sample!
