Villain is unknown but players on betfair nl10 are generally fishy/spewy. I bet pot size to get maximum value from his draws because I believe he's never folding a draw. On the turn it becomes a very tough decision because I'm quite sure he would play JJ, QQ, KK and maybe even AT the same way too. And if he was spewy as I thought he could have some bluffs like 88,77 in his shoving range too. I think against his range I have enough equity to make this call.

      Hi Tommy,

Preflop: why are we 3-betting so small preflop when we are 150 BB deep with MP3 (and SB)?

We should make it at least 10 BB there if not more.

Postflop: On the turn we should either bet smaller to induce or just shove directly given how big we bet on the flop. So a 4-5 and call is fine (like you played it).

So except the preflop size mistake I think you played it fine.

If villain is passive can we fold here, considering we still have 50bb left? Or are we pot committed?

It really depends on what reads we have and what we mean by passive (and the sample size).

We can fold here when we expect villain to just call draws and overpairs and only raise the nuts.
