      Hero bets $0.80, CO folds

villain was 30/14 in 160 hands he bet a good % of the turn when checked to.
I think i should have bet the turn because it would be unlikely he would have a flush draw with the cards on the flop and the fact i have a queen as well. i called as it looked like a weak sizing.
Not sure about my donk on the river

      Hi.

Flop: I think I much prefer checking here vs a bad player. I think we can definitely value bet the Flop for thin value but I think in general, most bad players misplay vs Flop checks big time.

They either completely put u on air after you bet Turn and River (which makes them call down 2 streets with every JX and maybe even lower pairs) or they start bluffing in an imbalanced manner (which makes bluff catching really profitable).

Turn: Why are you betting here? Are you trying to get value from worse? Are you trying to fold out better? If you can't find a good reason to bet, you are better off checking.

      Thanks.

so is this what you mean about checking the flop? I know this was more towards to get extra value on later streets.

      Nope.

With AK, we can go for 3 streets of value. Just bet Flop Turn River. You are losing a lot of value vs worse AX hands.

With QQ, we definitely cannot bet 3 streets and expect to get called by worse very often.
