      MP1: $6.50 (65 bb)
      MP2: $1.85 (18.5 bb)
      MP3: $7.68 (76.8 bb)

      BB: $5.10 (51 bb)
      UTG+1: $1.80 (18 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is SB with 8
      4 folds, MP3 raises to $0.20, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.60, BB folds, MP3 calls $0.40

      Flop: ($1.30) Q (2 players)

      Turn: ($3.60) 7 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
      River: ($3.60) J (2 players, 1 is all-in)

1] Treat minraise of MP2 as a raise with PocketEights or just as a limp?
2] Could I just check/fold on the flop or was pushing appropriate for FE?

      1. I treat minraises as a limp
      2. Your wre preflop agressiv so a contibet is EV+

Yes just ignore miniraises pf and 3bet them. Since your cbet would be more than 1/2 than your stack you can push, it's unlikely he hits anything on that board anyway.

      Hi Gerv,

personally I am no friend of ignoring minraises from any position, but from mp3 i treat it like a limp. Anyway since you are oop and he often folds on a conti bet you can consider to push preflop or raise to .70-0.8 to get more value, when he folds on the contibet. The contibet is standard and absolutely right, your play is always raise preflop push any flop with only 17.5bb left and a 6bb raise. Especially on this flop when there is only 1 overcard you often still have the best hand.

      Best Regards

In cases like this I tend to treat minraise as 2 limpers and push preflop if sitting in the blinds, because of bad position postflop. Otherwise I would make a regular 4BB + 1BB per limper.
