      BTN: $48.96 (195.8 bb)
      SB: $25 (100 bb)
      BB: $25 (100 bb)
      UTG: $52.20 (208.8 bb)
      MP: $32.69 (130.8 bb)
      Hero (CO): $49.97 (199.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8 T
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, BTN calls $0.75, SB folds, BB calls $0.50

      Flop: ($2.35) 4 T 2 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.49, BTN calls $1.49, BB folds

      Turn: ($5.33) 9 (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      River: ($5.33) A (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      Results:
      $5.33 pot ($0.29 rake)
      Final Board: 4 T 2 9 A
      BTN showed J J and won $5.04 ($2.80 net)
Hero showed 8 T and lost (-$2.24 net)

      VPIP: 14, PFR: 10, 3B: 8, AF: 3,3, Hands: 1283

I was hoping to remain with BB but didn't happen.
On turn I just don't see value: if he had FD it closed, 99 is a set, overpairs, T with better kickers beat me, so what else pays me here? no better hands fold as well
On river even Ax got there or single spade, so I saw no bluff/value spot.

      Hey AtrociousNightmare,

      Preflop is fine.

Flop bet for value is fine.

Hard to get called by worse on the turn, I agree your best option is to check.

Checking river is fine. I don't think a bluff is out of the question. Villain can easily have a hand like a better T that he is showing down that he may fold. I wouldn't expect to get called by a pair of aces etc.
