      betting on the flop is good since you can fold out small spades and potentially set up a bluff on the river to fold out an A if the spades hit.

      on the turn the flush completed, you can bet to fold out A but take note that the flush is not going to fold and if you want to fold out a small flush you need to bet the river big as well.

      That said he could have some pair hands like 8 or T and with JJ you do have showdown value so i prefer checking with JJ and betting worse hands.
