      Board: 7:heart: 4:heart: 9:spade:
      Equity Win Tie

      2) Is this a good play by him to set mine OOP like this vs aggro 3bettor? If he is calling 44 I guess his range is smth likeJJ-44,AJs-ATs,A5s-A2s,KTs+,QTs+,JTs,T9s,98s,87s,76s,AQo-AJo,KQo as his 4bet is 2.4

      1) I think he has mostly draws when he makes such a size, usually sets or air make smaller checkraises. You must heavily discount sets and 2pairs from his range and thus you will definitely have at least 40%+ equity here.

      2) It's terrible :)

      Very standard all-in.

      2) I've seen balugawhale advocating 4bet shoving in this kind of spots wiht small pockets intead of making normal size 4bet.

What do you think about this play?

I did the calculations before for such a spot.

We require the opponent to have a 14%+ 3bet range in this exact scenario (blind vs blind). I'm assuming 3BB open, 9BB 3bet size, 100BB stacks, value range of TT+/AQ+, for this 14% to hold true.. It gets a lot worse as stacks get deeper than 100bb, and also if the 3bet size is smaller.

For example, I would usually minraise 2BB in BU and opponents may make it 7 or 8BB. This means that there's less dead money to take down immediately.

Also, 4bet jamming anything is just not a good part of a balanced gameplan. With that said, I don't mind doing it occasionally vs someone getting out of line. It can be used to reseize the momentum too, if let's say you have been getting abused pretty hard in the past few hands.

If you are shoving 22-66 all the time, if I were your opponent, my adjustment to you would be to start 3betting 77/88/99 and you will just get owned if we get it in with my pair dominating yours.
