Villain is pretty much a rock 11/6.
I decide to slow down on the turn for pot control but this is a spot where I struggle with pot control over protection??
I think I am supposed to fold this river to this guy??

More about post-flop tendencies? Is this guy more like a passive or aggressive rock?

His range is quite strong, so I guess folding on river might be fine, if you think he is never bluffing. So tight range just crushes you.

      I would fold this preflop.

Just check back the flop against this guy. There's no worse hands to call, no better to fold, and to be honest, I don't think this guy has any draws at all.

As played, checking back the turn is fine.

On the river I would definitely fold here.
I think we are beat here all of the time.
