      River: ($1.60) 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $1.55, Hero folds

at the time villain was unknown- i bet the flop as i didn't think it hit much of his range and i have back door straight, turn card i bet as its much of a scare card for him and me
when he calls both, hes got me by the balls really.

With stats villain was 22/18 over 100 hands 14vpip in the BB and folded 80% in bb. would the hand play any differently with those numbers. I was thinking i'd probably not bet the turn as the ace hits quite a large amount of his range.

      Hi DrRaab,

Preflop: I think that stealing with a hand like this, unless you face a nit, will get you in a lot of trouble postflop so I would advise against it.

Postflop: As played we should cbet larger on the turn to increase our FE. I would bet 55c or so.

Even with those stats I still think the turn is a bet. It's a perfect scare card and a lot of people at these limits simply fold on them.
