Can I cbet profitably here? Should I have double barreled and consider checking for a free showdown? I honestly thought he had mostly 9x in his range when he bets river (he is 31/11 over 70 hands) so I thought a call here is profitable.

you could consider cbetting on turn against his draws like TJ TQ and sometimes 9X but checking back to catch busted draws isnt a bad idea either.

his bet vs missed CB and river aggression gives an idea of which is better, the higher the missed CB and river aggression the more you should check back to catch a bluff.
his fold to CB on flop and turn also lends some insight, the less the folds to CB on flop and turn the more you should just bet yourself for value, he could be calling pretty wide there, maybe even Ax as a bluffcatch

while he could sometimes have Kx, he also has TJ TQ 97 89 (which he mistook for 2pair but actually just one pair)

i dont think Kx would bet that big on the river, he will probably bet smaller to get a call.

      regards
