      Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      CO: $54.42 (108.8 bb)
      Hero (BTN): $50 (100 bb)
      SB: $70.60 (141.2 bb)

      UTG: $90.25 (180.5 bb)
      MP: $50.75 (101.5 bb)

      Preflop: Hero is BTN with T A
      2 folds, CO raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $4.50, 2 folds, CO calls $3

      Flop: ($9.75) 2 4 J (2 players)
      CO checks, Hero bets $6, CO calls $6

      Turn: ($21.75) 9 (2 players)
      CO checks, Hero checks

      River: ($21.75) 6 (2 players)
      CO bets $10.50, Hero folds

      Results:
      $21.75 pot ($0.98 rake)
      Final Board: 2 4 J 9 6
      CO mucked and won $20.77 ($10.27 net)
      Hero mucked T A and lost (-$10.50 net)

      I 3bet pre for value and in order to isolate him.

      Now I am not really sure how to proceed on the flop as a general plan.

      I have poor FE vs him but I still miss 2/3 of the time ?( --> TIghten pf range and include more pockets that will have SD value vs him ?

      Hi,

      I think his range is just ultra-wide here. I would check back and try to showdown Ace high. Calling all Turns and perhaps calling some rivers too.

      You should be able to see that our equity is pretty high here. I don't see any reason to bet Flop and turn our hand into a bluff. And I don't think betting to take down the pot and fold out our opponent's equity share is all that important.

      Board: Jd2d4c
      Equity Win Tie
      MP2 47.36% 45.18% 2.19% { AcTs }
      CO 52.64% 50.45% 2.19% { 22+, A2s+, K2s+, Q7s+, J8s+, T8s+, 97s+, 86s+, 75s+, 64s+, 54s, A2o+, K9o+, Q9o+, J9o+, T9o }

      Thanks.

      I guess I don't really know what a 40% range is --> some equilab work for me

      Thanks
