      CO: $96.00
      BTN: $50.78
      SB: $63.82
      Hero (BB): $87.69
      UTG: $134.70

SB posts SB $0.25, Hero posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has K:diamond: Q:spade:

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to $1.00, fold, Hero calls $0.50

      Flop: ($2.25, 2 players) T:spade: J:diamond: 4:diamond:
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      Turn: ($2.25, 2 players) 2:club:
Hero bets $3.00, BTN calls $3.00

      River: ($8.25, 2 players) 6:club:
      Hero bets $21.00

Villain 23/17, cbet 57% unknown reg

I dont expect him to slowplay anything on that board, so I overbet turn so he doesnt try to bluffcatch, on the river board doesnt change much and I think his hand is at most a blufcatcher.

The reg is a good winning reg.

The spot is meehh, only because you can't really rep strong hands but you can rep a lot of draws. You can rep Jx, TT basicaly and any flush draw, straight draw so you might get called more frequently than on J86s.

I'd say either pot the turn or double it.

Also, river sizing is way too big. Double the pot will do the same and you don't have to risk additional 10 big blinds.

PS. Was sitting at the table and saw what the villain did haha

I think it's pretty common for low cbet strategies to checkback and potcontrol flops with weak top pair or mid pair type hands in these spots?

Looks like you don't rep much on the river, TT, TJ. I'd be doubting you would play AT or KT like that.

Even on the turn, you look so crazy. Are you overbetting your value hands like that?

After villain calls the turn I think it's obvious he has some weak Jx or a mid pair, Tx. Maybe even something like 42s.

A nice hand and spot for him to bluffcatch what looks like spew.

what'd he have? what'd he have? :f_p: :f_p: :f_p: or did he shove coz you rep bugger all?!

      He had 55 offcourse
I guess my line makes very little sense. Some videos just make me spew. But I guess its not that bad when I can learn a lot from this hand.
I do make these overbets from time to time with different types of hands and this is the first time Im bluffcatched so light. Most of the regs just take their time and fold.

Some punk did something similar to me today.

Here I think he has a little more credibility. I soooo wanted to call. I am such a station :f_grin:

I prefer the overbet line if we can rep more nutted hands. I don't think we can rep JJ and TT here, and we rep so many more busted draw type of hands.

I think a more suitable board texture for overbetting the turn is 789, where we can rep 9 combos of sets, all the 2 pairs, and 56/JT. On this board, we rep KQ/89/busted diamond draws way too much so I don't like overbetting here as much. And I think he might have folded if we had bet a smaller amount.

Your hand is very different from jachis' hand. Firstly the PFR did not show weakness on the Flop. Secondly, the J on the river is actually a card which helps you more than it helps villain. I think it's fine to fold here and consider calling JX which is at the top of our range.
