      Hi agane.

This handd was played against a friend in a Home game table.

      The oponent was playing
      47/44
      in 650 hands
      Whit a 3bet of 40%.
      Fold to 4bet 25% (16 )
Fold BB vs SB steal 57%

I think that steal eny too is EV+, but I dont sure what to do against a 3bet.

while I was playing some calculations

      He 3bet 40% and fold to 4bet 25%, so he call my push whit this hands (66+, A2s+, K9s+, QTs+, JTs, A2o+, KTo+, QTo+).
Hands like 55-22 or maby an Ax he push preflop.

Based on my calculations I pushear this range 22+,A2s+,K9s+,QTs+,JTs,A2o+,KTo+,QJo

But im not sure if push this hands got the best EV.
What is your oppinion of PAY preflop and push whit something of equiti?

      Hello,

Just fold here after the 3bet.

I do agree that against this guy raising any two is good, and the fact that he mostly plays 3bet or fold will make our game considerably easier.
What sucks here in our play, is that we only have 25% fold equity.

So that means that we will win the pot here 1 out of 4 times, and in the rest 3 times we stand pretty bad with 87o.
So, the maths looks like this:

in 25% of the times we win $3, and in 75% of the times we risk $9 to win $20.

      0.25*3 + 0.75*(x*20 - 9) > 0

      X here is our equity.

      0.75 + 15x - 6.75 >0
      15x > 6
      x > 6/15

So, we need to have more than 40% equity in order to have a profitable shove, and this does not include the rake.

So, if we make some Equilab calculations, we will see that we need him to shove 80% range (when he only 3bets 40%), in order the push to be break even.

About the call preflop and stack off with equity, I prefer it to be with a high card - like K2, or a suited hand.

      Best,
      Plamen

      80% or fange?

      EV: FE *DM +(1-fe)(EQ*POT -stack).

      0.25*6bb + (0.75)* (42.3 *39BB - 18bb)

Making this I got a spect value of 0.055bb if I push this range 22+,A2s+,KTs+,QJs,A5o+,KJo+ (20%).

So Is EV to me open 100% and fold 80% to 3bets?

Against which range do you have 42.3% equity with 22+,A2s+,KTs+,QJs,A5o+,KJo+?
Overall I think this range is good enough to go broke in this spot, 20bb deep against an active 3bettor.
