So I am looking for a new room to play at, but from what I am seeing of Titan, the rakeback VIP system is atrocious.

It gives 15 Club Points for every $1 rake.
You can then cash this in for a monthly bonus of $1/100 points.
      A.K.A. 15% rakeback.

Here is the kicker, if you get a better status level, you can save up points to spend on rewards.

      Points Reward Points Per $1

      4,500 $25 180
      8,000 $50 160
      14,000 $100 140
      26,000 $200 130
      50,000 $400 125
      80,000 $800 100
      140,000 $1,500 93
      320,000 $4,000 80
      600,000 $8,000 75
      950,000 $14,000 68

So you have to rake $5333 before you can get anything better than 15% rakeback.

I didn't even think it was legal to claim you have the "world's best" something, when you don't.

Am I wrong, and is their some other method on top to get rakeback, or is it capped at a measly 15% for pretty much everyone????

Dk about Titan one but for me Party poker reward system is up my ass, as a casual player i have NEVER got something for the points, playing $6-$12 sng and have also played $125 $210 in some days back (dont remember exact sum) 9 man sng) expect tickets to lame player club tourney. + i have no rakeback.

As long as i have played, i mostly i like PKR points system because they come quickly generate and can buy sng tournament tickets. + you have 30% rakeback, and spending points don't effect it Also FTP points system is good, but the rakeback system is bs

I think you're very confused about how the points/vip system works metza.

If you rake 1k a month you get the highest VIP level which comes with the highest points multiplier. If you save up 950,000 points and get the $14,000 bonus that is 50% rakeback. Even if you settle for the 140,000 for $1500 bonus that is above 40% rakeback. All this on top of your First Deposit Bonus + promotions.

What other poker room lets you have the highest VIP level for raking just 1k a month?

But I don't rake 1k a month, not even close. Neither do the vast majority of poker players I'd say. So what ends up happening for me as NL10 player is not only do I need 33% rakeback at iPoker to even be the same as 0% rakeback at Stars due to higher rake, I rake about $210 a month to get 3750 titan points, which can either get me a max of $20 monthly cash, or I have to save up to 4500 and get a $25 reward. So I either get 9% rakeback or save points and get 8.3% rakeback. Or if I'm extra patient and save up my points for 4.5 months to buy $100 with 14k points, I get 10% rakeback. Meanwhile I am paying 1.5x the rake I do at Stars. Sorry but this is just total crap.

There's a big difference between having "the worlds most rewarding VIP system" and "the worlds most rewarding vip system for a limited amount of players who rake between 1k and 7k but no others" :f_biggrin:

And actually the 140000 bonus takes $4666 rake to get with Titanium 2x multiplier, so its actually 32% rakeback, not "above 40%". Same with the 950k bonus. 950k/30 (30 points per $ rake at Titanium) is 31666. Meaning 14k is 44% rakeback. In both cases you're overestimating the rakeback.

      Well I play SNGs so I get 17 points per $1 rake. 2x multiplier = 50% for the 14k and 42% for the 1.5k.

I see how for low rakers it is frustrating... I was there for a while myself. If you rake $230 a month then your best bet might be to move to a low rake room or pick one of those networks that give daily rakeback.

Although, with a first deposit bonus that releases at 30% you can still get ok rakeback % for a month on Titan.

Even if you are able to get the silver status (2000 titan points, i.e. 117$ in rake/month), you will get 1.2x club points for each titan point you earn. If you get 3000 titan points in a month, you will get a 1.3x multiplier. I am earning around 3000 points a month; with all the bonuses and promos that are running through titan and pokerstrategy i am earning close to 70% rakeback.

*edit* also keep in mind the monthly cashback promotion: you get 1$ back for each 100 points you earn in a month (up to 20$). This is 17% rakeback already.

*edit 2* I am getting 17 TP per 1$ rake from tournaments. This is different than the 15 TP/1$ you are stating; are TP rates different in cash games?

*edit 3* I'm just re-reading the thread and I guess I just repeated a lot of things that have been said already.

Here are some exact numbers for different promos on Titan:

      1st deposit bonus - 5$ released per 300 TP = 28.3% RB

      Monthly Cashback - 1$ / 100 TP = 17% RB

Pokerstrategy March Promo - earn 20$ at titan for getting 10 SP a day for (any) 20 days in march. If you did the bare minimum, this would be 20$ for 200SP earned which works out to 30% RB

Combine these 3 together and you're already getting 75% RB.

As a micros player opt on in for weekly cash. Sam epoints to cash ratio as the highest trade in (ofc equivalent rb is less as point multilier is much less than the highest vip and its limited to 20 dollars per week)

I'm not sure about Titan specifically, but with my points on William Hill, with 3000 WHAP (William Hill Award Points), I have a choice of $2 outright, or a $5.00 bonus.

I choose the bonus, since I'll be playing anyway.

At the 2nd-lowest level you get 75 WHAP pts per $ Rake.
      So you must rake $40 to earn $5.00 = 12.5 % rakeback.

At my current level, I get 95 WHAP points per $ Rake
      3000/95 = 31.58 rake to earn $5.00 = 15.8% rakeback

      This is playing NL4/NL5

The point is, at low stakes, it doesn't pay to save up for a bigger bonus, because you must clear the bonus in 30 days, or lose it. Therefore I buy the smaller bonuses to be certain I can clear them in a month.

If I ever get to NL 50, then the percentage takes a big jump.

Be certain to buy the bonus with your points, not the cash reward.

I logged into Titan a few days ago for the first time in a long time as I had quit online poker, however I had 'The urge'. You guys know it.

I remembered that I had a few K club points left to spend on Titan.
I logged in with the idea that I could exchange the points for cash or play some points SNG's to build a little bankroll for my itchy fingers!

I began by looking at the SNG points games. Bingo the lowest was a 450pts 10man, with 4500 point up for grabs (worth $25 If exchanged in the shop).
I click to register...'sorry but your VIP level does not allow you to register to this tournament' what? you have to be a certain level to spend the points? never heard of this before.

OK fair enough i'll just go ahead and log into the store and exchange the points for cash or an SNG ticket....same thing, same message!

Turns out the only thing i can spend them on is a 10pt MTT which runs 4x a days, four chances a day to spend 40pts of my few k, pretty lame I say.

Then, pretty fed up I am looking around and I clock the 'Titan treasures' logo, bingo I thought. I can buy gold coins!
I go ahead and try it out on the option of '2000 points for 10000 gold coins, prizes up to $20 dollars'

So I purchase the gold coins, log into Titan treasures and spend the coins. There are a few moments of dramatics as the prize is 'drawn'.

'Congratulations you have won 500 club points!'

      Instant log out.
      hahaha
