Vilain is a fish 84/45 11 hand. On the turn I don't want him to snap fold pocket pair and isolate myself vs trips. If I check he can bet draw sometimes. If I bet, K is very too scary to be called by less.

why are you expecting him to bet on the turn? does he have a high aggression of 3 or more?

if you dont have any reads ill assume hes passive and called the flop with overcards and draws like 78 89 KJ QJ flush draws and trips so ill value bet against that range on the turn and river.

against passive and wide opponents we want to bet ourselves for value as the priority. we should not worry so much about them having the nuts because they will tell us with a raise and its not so often they have it.
