So i've made a few blogs before, normally make them when I need some motivation - hence why I'm making another one :D

A bit about me - I'm a 20 year old student studying Accounting. Been playing poker for about 3 years - used to play MTTs and I had fair bit of success with them, but the lifestyle didn't really fit in with university so I've made the change to cash games.

Been playing nl50 since September and this is my graph since then :

Had to make some withdrawals from this, and I busted my account once playing roulette drunk. Recently just came out of a stake so I'm starting with a $1k bankroll.

The goal is to reach NL200 by June, reaching NL100 in april sometime. Going to be pretty aggro with my BRM.

Another side goal is to make around $3k spending money to go Vegas in June and to also have a $10k+ bankroll at this point - but this one is more of a pipedream, though I do want to go to Vegas before I start 2nd year in September.

Going to use this blog to post my progress, hands and also generally talk a load of crap :f_biggrin:

A Blog is certainly an awesome way to keep motivation up, as long as you keep up with the updates ofc ;)

Looks like your last 600 hands where pretty sweet!

Just out of curiosity, have you worked your way up to NL50 from Micro's or ?

Yea I forget to update it over time, then my blogs get lost :P

I have worked my way up to nl50 from nl2 yes but like when i got to nl25 i then started playing MTTs and played those for a while at like a $30 average buyin and made a fair amount.

But now cos of uni and life I don't really like playing MTTs cos you have to commit to sessions for a long time, so I went back to nl25 and then worked my way up to nl50 where I've pissed about for a bit too long now :f_biggrin:

Some ambitious goals you have, you'll have to get in way more volume than in the NL50 graph you showed.

Anyway, will be awesome if you can reach it! I'll be routing for you. :)

My biggest leak by far has to be alcohol.

Spent £100 last night and i have probably the worst hangover I've had in ages today - drank half a bottle of vodka.

Still, promised myself I'd put volume in this weekend so going to drink a lot of water and try to go on a fishing trip later :s_biggrin:

So I have played a lot already this month. Semi good results - online has been quite good - but I've played NL100£ live twice this month and spunked about $500 in that game, which I've withdrawn from my bankroll. As a result current roll stands at about $1.1k (pre rb for the month). Im still reasonably confident however that I can have a $2.5k roll at the start (or in the first 2 weeks) of april so that I can start shooting NL100 for a 5bi shot.

Reason I played live was because I was watching EPT stream and just got cravings to play live, it defs is not the most +EV decision in terms of $/hr atm. When I get to $6k roll however I think I'm gna start mixing in £1/2 live with my online grind.

Graph for month so far (it's out by about $200 i think cos of rage quit when i lost a pot before hand was imported) :
