Hello. On the flop I want to protect my hand vs overcards and get thin value from pockets, QT, AJ, AQ, AT (SB has those in his range because of his PFR). I think there should be another bet on turn for free showdown. Is it fine or an overplay? Thx

      Hi John Doe,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: It's hard to justify a bet for value here but we are betting to take down the pot and collect the dead money and we have some super thin value.

      The rest looks fine.

So betting turn isn't a good play. It's better to check back turn because there are better Jx, Kx in his range? Also QT got there. So equitywise we are behind and number of gutshot combinations is too small to justify a value bet , right?

      Exactly,

Unless villain is a huge station what do we get value from with a bet? Or can we make better fold (doubtful)?
