Preflop: Hero is MP with T K
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.40, CO folds, BTN calls $0.40, SB folds, BB calls $0.30

      Flop: ($1.25) A 8 2 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.90, BTN folds, BB raises to $1.80, Hero raises to $4.90, BB calls $3.10

      Turn: ($11.05) 8 (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks

      River: ($11.05) T (2 players)
BB bets $7.87, Hero calls $7.87

      Results:
      $26.79 pot ($1.00 rake)
      Final Board: A 8 2 8 T
Hero mucked T K and lost (-$13.17 net)
      BB showed 2 2 and won $25.79 ($12.62 net)

BTN is Nitty over 400 hands and BB is TAGy over 200 hands, on the Turn I am not sure about Checking behind, on the River I think I still have to call because with 8 pairing and As and 10s being unlikely the only hand that beats be is 2s and A8?

      Hi BigAl,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Nice flop for us and i don't mind the 3-bet because villain is very polarized. he either has a hand he likes or tried a cheap bluff.

Once he calls it's clear that he almost always has either a small flush or a set.

That 8 is bad for us but I think we can bet/fold 1/2 pot looking for a free showdown (this way we can try to dictate the money that goes in).

Do you think Calling the River is ok?

Since he is BB and overcalled he can have worse flushes so I think it's fine.

We should see some weaker flushes occasionally.
