Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BTN with A :club: 3 :spade:
2 folds, CO calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.40, 2 folds, CO calls $0.30 Isolating fish. My hand is better than his, so we could say its a valuebet.

      Flop: ($0.95) 5 :club: Q :club: J :club: (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $0.50, CO raises to $1, Hero calls $0.50 Should not bet here, I should only bet for value vs loose-passive player.

      Turn: ($2.95) 3 :club: (2 players)
CO bets $1.50, Hero raises to $4.05, CO folds

      Hello,

      Preflop I'd isolate pot size.

Betting the flop is definitely good, but I would bet bigger on monotone boards - $0.8.
When he raises I think calling is fine.

I think on the turn we can just call here and let him bluff if he has any bluffs. If he has the Kc the money are probably going to go in the middle anyways, so no need to push him off his weak hands.

      Best,
      Plamen

Why do you bet the flop?
We should confine ourselves betting for value vs passive guys, and this doesnt look like one.

We should bet here because of our high equity.

The fact that the guy is passive does not mean that the guy is not folding against aggression, and even if he does not fold often, we still have good enough equity to justify a bet here.
