villain is a tight regular. i only have a small sample on him, but he is 19/17 over 79 hands. he 3bets 6.7%. have no real history with him but he doesn't seem very tricky.

not too sure if i should be check/folding this flop, but decided to just bet/fold flop.

on the turn, once he calls the flop i think he can have a few AdXx/KdXx hands, along with some weak pairs like 44/66/77/99 and maybe even TT that are bet/folding to protect their equity. I think also it's less likely he'll call with 1 card FDs since even if he hits he isn't feeling so good about the board pairing...

not sure if this is spew or okay. i think i rep a pretty strong range...

      Hi DrDunne,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Your move works on people that can fold overpairs or stronger nut draws. Personally I think that you got him to fold a float which he can fold with a double barrel. I doubt your average 10 nl player will fold enough overpairs/Ad draws here for our raise to be that profitable. So I do think it's a bit spewy.

What was your plan if you got called?

that is a fair point about 2nd barreling, but it's a pretty bad card to 2nd barrel is it not?

i didn't really think too much about the river but i guess i would just barrel any non :diamond: ... or is that a bad plan vs someone this tight?
