not sure if i could have folded here.

UTG is an unknown but likely weak given stack size and limp. BB is 17/7 over 86 hands so a pretty nitty weak player given stack size. i didn't actually see his stats during the hand and was treating him as an unknown, but i think after seeing his stats it's a snapfold on the turn...

      cbet flop is standard

once the board pairs i think it gives him less combos of sets if he even has 55/44 in his CC range preflop... from a player like him i expect CCs with hands like 99-QQ and AK maybe AQ.

on the turn he obviously will fold 99, AK and AQ, and we are left with a range of TT-QQ which i think will all play the same. it's very few combos, but i think it's the only thing villain can have here.

do you think my assumptions are correct or would he rather down to the river with JJ/QQ and raise only turned FH? can i really make the read of only 3 combos here?

I think you played this hand good. There's no way I'm folding my highest overpair here on the turn.
Even if we give him just one combo of JJ and three of TT our call is fine, and I expect him to have at least one worse hand here at all.
